It's almost the end of my 2nd semester here. Which means its the end of our senior's 4th semester. Their last. KYUEM is the place where you mingle around with everyone, not segregating seniors or juniors. I was in a boarding school and juniors don't mix with seniors, and they to bagi salam each time they pass by us, and call us 'abang' and so on. But in KY, everything's different.
We literally have to mix with seniors because we live in a house system, where all students are divided into four houses like the one on Harry Po'er. Yes Harry Po'er. I sounded Bri'ish don't 'ai. Anyway, the seniors will have to work together with us to win inter-house events, where the points will be accumulated to determine which house deserves the House Cup. Nais nais nais.
Throughout my 2 semesters here, we did everything with the seniors. They are awesome friends. They don't treat us like 'juniors', they treat us like equals. We hang out together, we dine together, we sing songs together, we jam, we watch movies together, we crack jokes together, study together, played games together and a whole lot of other things. We are bros. Now here's a song I dedicate to the male seniors.
It's sad to realize that they are leaving us. Before, we see them everyday, walk past them on the walkway, they will smile every time they see us, say hi to us. They treat us like family.
We can't do anything about it, they are moving on, past A Levels and one step further to their dream university, their future. Soon, all of us will have to do the same. It is a phase that every student goes through. I do hope we will still be in contact with the seniors, both 13.0 and 13.5's. I won't mention names, because all of you guys are awesome.
Yes. I did take the photo from Zchii. Credits to Zchii for le photos. I can't seem to find any photos of all the batch 13.5 seniors though. Sorry in advance.
Without you guys, we won't survive in this jungle.
We love you guys. Don't ever forget us.
